Southern Tier

  • When we decided on a date for my visit, we discovered there were no accommodations. Turns out it was the Watsons Glen Races. Michelle found a place for me in the retreat center where she keeps her trailer. I had the building to myself.
  • The camp is 100 years old, and a mix of different types of accomodations.
  • Morning mist rising up behind the cow barn across the road.
  • First excursion, Taughannock Falls State Park. The visitors center has a pollinator garden, and it was in full bloom. A good selection of native plants.
  • And as you can see, put to good use!

  • The next several views are along Taghannok Creek. Lovely small waterfalls.
