The Hill Country of Texas and the Waco Area

Images from my trip to Waco and the Hill Country of Texas. The order is pretty much chronological. The weather for the trip was perfect for vacation, not a cloud in the sky and in the low 80's, but absolutely awful for photography, sharp and contrasty. It was a great trip! All kinds of my favorite stuff, and I can't thank my cousin Mike enough for taking me around and being a great companion.

  • Mike took me to a wetland not far away, and here came my Dragons. Lots were familiar, but some sent me to the books. ( I had to get one for Texas.) This is a Variegated Meadowhawk.
