Great Smoky Mountains

From Tremont Workshop

  • And later that evening.
  • A trail behind the Dupont Lodge that is usually full of wildflowers at this time of year. After a day in the car, I usually go down this after I check in.
  • Mini landscape off the trail.
  • A patch of Lousewort on the trail. I look for this when I go.
  • 042222. Morning walk to the Falls.
  • There was a rainbow that morning.
  • And I caught the rainbow at the Falls.
  • Mini Cascade and painted rocks a little further down river.

  • Got into B&W on the sunrise shots.
  • I think this B&W worked.
  • Dwarf Crested Iris, one of my favorite Smoky's Spring flowers.
  • Showy Orchis is one of my nemesis flowers. Usually with holes, and about 5 inches tall, every year I try for a good shot. This year I got one before the Spider Mite chomped on it! Several more shots in the Tremont Workshop Gallery.
