  • 070619. Slaty Skimmer female, Libellula incesta. Note the little beetle at the end of the stalk.,
  • 070619. female Slaty Skimmer. I wish I had more shots of this one, to find out the fate of the tiny beetle. It turned around from the previous shot.
  • 070619. Common Whitetail, Plathemis lydia. Not a good shot, but they were not as common this year as usual

  • 071919. This Turkey Vulture was checking out the newly mown area, and from the smell, there was much he would be interested in. What surprised me was what an expressive facial expression it had. Blow it up!
  • Blue Dasher, Pachidyplax longipenis. 7/24/19 , Grafton Ohio. One of the most common and wonderfully beautiful of the local dragons. This is a male in pretty good condition.

  • 072419. Liatris, including a few white ones. The Liatris display here is one of the most spectacular I have seen.
