09-02-17. I found this single patch of Bottle Gentian,Gentiana andrewsii, in 2015 in a wet meadow but couldn't find it in 2016. This year, I located the clump again and made sure I got its GPS for the future!
09-16-17. Late summer scenery. The flowers in the foreground are Tickseed Sunflowers, Bidens coronata. They are prominent around the wet areas at this time of year, and usually loaded with various pollinators.
