  • View of the cliffs around Alfarnate, with an olive tree in the foreground.

  • Conveyer in the olive oil cooperative in Alfarnate.
  • 18th century church of Christo de Cabrillo in Alfarnetejo,. I liked the simple lines and construction details. We had lunch in the town.

  • I loved the color of the vines and oranges against this old castle wall.
  • A few images from Cordoba where the wonderful old mosque was converted to a Catholic cathedral, not destroyed.
  • Untitled photo
  • Crucifix under some ornate Moorish arches.
  • The choir, unbelievably intricate carvings in mahogany. Details will be in the Cordoba gallery.

  • Glass dome over the center of an old palazzo, now a restaurant where we ate a great lunch.
  • Ronda, a hill town with a long history including the Romans, Moors, Spaniards and now ex-Pats from all over. This is the bridge over its famous gorge, which still has some Roman elements.

  • Ronda is considered a cradle of bullfighting, an offshoot of its equestrian school.
