9/02. Crab Spider tucked itself into my Dragonflowers.

9/14. CSW. Stiff Goldenrod against a background of Grey Goldenrod. There are at least 4 different Goldenrod Species there.

9/15. CBG. A type of pea flower.

9/24. Tiny feather caught in the spider's web.

9/25. CSW. Practicing action on this Red Tailed Hawk. Looks like I need more.

9/14. CSW. Cardinal Flowers are one of my favorites this time of year.

9/17. Flour of an Hour is one of my favorite wildflowers. We usually have some, but you have to catch them when they are open, which isn't long.

9/15. Indian Hollow. Variety of fungus, old and new, on the log.

9/24. B&W conversion of the above. You can vote.

9/25. CSW. Argiope are not very common this year. If you blow up the picture, the partially wrapped prey is a praying mantis. The battle of the predators!

9/03. CBG. Used a vignette filter.

9/08. Sedem is starting to bloom.

9/19. This Banded Tussock Moth Caterpillar was on Bob's Brushhog. It reminded me of one of those poofy little white dogs.

9/22. Since they planted corn and not soybeans, here is the path next door. Fall colors starting.

9/25. CSW. Painted Lady on the gravel. Only the second one I've seen this year.

09/27. These house sparrows splashed all the water out of the birdbath and then looked around for more.

9/06. Peak Preserve. Familiar Bluets arranged themselves for this one.

9/08. This Cicada roosts on my clothesline sometimes.

9/15. CBG. Berries on an Asparagus Fern.

9/20. It's caterpillar time. This Fall Webworm on my screen is even more hairy than Banded Tussock.

9/22. The bull next door showing me what he thinks.

9/25. CSW. Autumn Meadowhawk. In contrast to last year, they are abundant this year.
