Indian Hollow

  • March 1. Starting an ugly month working on the same bouquet.
  • March 1. The pink flowers in the bouquet are developing lovely pale centers.
  • March 2. Workshop at CBG and Orchid Mania.

  • March 3. Second day of the workshop.

  • March 4. Got up to temperatures in the teens and hoarfrost. But the skies were blue!

  • March 8. Got up to this scene of shadows on the overnight snow. That means the sun is out!

  • March 7. The House Finches are getting much brighter and really pairing up.
  • March 9. More frost this morning. This is on the thyme in my garden. Can't believe it's still green.
  • March 9. One of a pair of Mourning Doves under my feeder. After this morning's frost, it got to the 50's.
  • March 10. Last day of Orchidmania.

  • March 11. Muddy day. Chicken portraits are not as easy as I thought. Probably worse since it was raining.
  • March 12. The patch of Deadnettles in my vegetable garden is blooming again. At least this isn't as silly as January. Have to do these again. It was breezy and the intricate detail on these tiny flowers could be better.
  • March 13. Another ugly snow spitting day. Cut flowers brighten up the house, and give me something to play with images.
